Creative Clarity Coaching
As you walk the sands of your life, do you sometimes feel like you're getting buried in the dunes?
Do you want to figure out how best to live your life purpose?
Have you tried all sorts of books and webinars and self-help approaches, but feel frustrated with the outcomes you’ve experienced (or haven’t experienced)?
These are the types of issues that coaching addresses. Here are a few answers to questions you might have about coaching, and the potential of our working together.
What Coaching Methods Can We Use?
Creative Clarity Coaching, offered here at Prints on Purpose, is totally client-directed. We work together on what’s important to you. This isn’t a ‘one-bathing-suit-fits-all’ approach!
For example—
We can use a linear model, which tends to be popular in the area of goal achievement. Stephen Covey (The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People) and Jack Canfield (The Success Principles) have made major contributions to this style of coaching. When I’m working with clients to achieve specific, tangible goals, this logical method can be especially effective.
We can use a more holistic, non-linear model, which is designed for creative types who find a step-by-step approach stifling and difficult (if not impossible). Marney Makridakis (Creating Time: Using Creativity to Reinvent the Clock and Reclaim Your Life) built her ARTbundance™ coach training program around the needs of such ‘right brainers.’
And since I’m certified as both an ARTbundance™ coach and a FranklinCovey™ coach, we aren’t restricted to ‘one or the other’—we can combine methods in a way that works best for you!
What Is a Coaching Session Like?
Coaching is a journey of self-discovery. The first step for me, as your coach, is to listen, intently and empathetically, connecting with who and where you are. Once you have been truly heard, my combination of training, experience and intuition prompts me to ask you the questions that allow you to access your own reservoir of deep self-knowledge. This connection with your own understanding, along with mutually-agreed-upon accountability, leads to awareness, growth, awakened creativity, and goal achievement.
In addition to finely-honed inquiry skills, my coaching toolkit is filled with practical resources (as well as empathy and encouragement) to help you. The ultimate destination on the coaching journey is you, grown into the person who can live your life purpose fully and joyfully.
How Do We Get Started?
Generally, I begin a coaching relationship with a hand analysis. This is an enlightening, affordable way for you to learn more about yourself, to access core issues you may want to explore, and for you to get to know me. If you’d prefer to hop straight into the coaching waters, though, that is perfect as well. In that case, I offer a short, complimentary ‘getting to know you’ conversation so we can decide whether we are a good match.
Connecting with people is the way I fulfill my own life purpose. Everything in my life comes down to relationships, and this is why I love creating rapport and sincerely connecting with my clients.
